Monotonicity, asymptotic behaviors and uniqueness of traveling waves to a nonlocal dispersal equation modeling an age-structured population.

We considered a population model with nonlocal dispersal and age structure. Under monostable assumptions, we obtained the exact asymptotic behaviors of the wave profiles at both wave tails ξ = ± ∞ ( ξ = x + c t ). The monotonicity for all wave profiles is also derived. Furthermore, we show that the wave profile with a given wave speed c is unique up to a translation. Our results generalize the known results in the literature. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
