Abstract

The article reports the construction of the Veer Kunwar Singh Bridge, formerly known as the Arrah-Chhapra Bridge, in the state of Bihar, India. It states that the construction of the concrete bridge was part of the development of Bihar's infrastructure to improve the state's economic prospects. It also provides detailed information about the engineering of the bridge using extradosed navigation spans.
