Abstract
- The article focuses on the trend of false news or news termed as post-truth in the media. It discusses how the campaigns related to the Brexit and the presidential campaign of 2016 was filled with false news including the political statement of quitting the European Union (EU) would save Britain, the £350 million charges for its membership and how U.S. president Donald Trump had used lies all along to win the campaign against the U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
