Abstract

Objective To understand the epidemiologic situation and high-risk pathogenic factors of cervical cancer and to investigate the current preventive measures of cervical cancer in Changzhou in order to provide a scientific basis for its prevention and treatment. Methods Two hundreds and thirty-eight patients "case group) with pathologically confirmed cervical cancer in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2015 and 714 age-matched and area-matched healthy females "control group) were selected and conducted the related factors questionnaire survey. The related factors included general condition, diet and life style,menstrual,marital and bearing history,hormone use,past disease history,family history,women disease general survey knowledge and HPV infection situation and so on. Results Adopting the contraceptive measures and conducting cervical screening at regular interval had the protective effect on cervical cancer occurrence % while cervical HPV infection, cervical cancer family history,many sexual partners and smoking were the high-risk factors of cervical cancer (P<0.05). The clinical symptoms"including irregular bleeding,vaginal discharge,contact bleeding) in the case group were more significant than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Advocating to use condom,quit smoking, regular cervical screening, strengthening monitoring on the high-risk populations such as cervical cancer family history and many sexual partners will conduce to reduce the incidence rate of cervical cancer.
