Abstract
- Reports on the case of a 56-year-old woman with a malignant variant of symptomatic cough headache who developed pneumocephalus (PC) and subsequently, pneumococcal meningitis, arising from infected paranasal sinuses. Prompt institution of antibiotics after diagnostic lumbar puncture resulted in the resolution of PC within 24 hours; Medical history; Therapeutics.
