Abstract
- The Old Gunnislake mine is well known among collectors of Cornish minerals as the source of classic old specimens of metatorbernite, most of them found around 1811-1812. The mine finally closed in 1872, and surface areas where mining took place have been reclaimed. Some of the underground workings are still accessible, but are quite radioactive.
