Topics discussed include a profile of John Lockhart Gibson, one of the founders of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, published in a 1992 issue of the periodical, an article about fractures and dislocations of the cervical part of the spine, published in a 1967 issue, and a report on war-time surgical practices by Australian surgeons in the Australian Army Medical Corps, published in a 1942 issue.
