- The author relates his experience as a speech-language pathologist who has treated people with aphasia. Topics covered include his experience of being diagnosed with expressive aphasia, his attempt to compensate for his verbal and literal paraphasias and his appreciation of the entire person beyond the communicative disorder he was trained to address.
