The objective of this paper is to analyze the importance of literary translation in terms of intercultural and intellectual opening to other forms of thought in the literary supplement Letras & Artes (1946-1954), as well as to show how literary translation becomes an important mechanism for cultural, social, and political education from a synchronic perspective of literature.
