Abstract

This article describes the case of a 5-month-old girl admitted to a pediatric intensive care unit with respiratory distress. Topics covered include the results of the patient's physical examination, ophthalmologic examination, computed tomography of the cranium and magnetic resonance imaging of the spine, her diagnosis of Wilms' tumor and encephalocraniocutaneous lipomatosis, known as Haberland syndrome, and the different systems affected by Haberland syndrome, including the eyes and skin.
