Abstract
- The article discusses Thomas Aquinas's philosophy of love and love for others. It states that Aquinas' thought on love is inconsistent, according to scholars Leslie Dewart and Anders Nygren, citing that his attempts to unite Greek philosophy with Christian faith are doomed to fail. It also says that Aquinas identification of God as the ultimate end in the treatise on beatitude tells that God is the good people desire and wish to obtain for one's self.
