- The article focuses on the effects of immigration on the epidemiology of HIV transmission from mother to child in Western Europe. It discusses the Spanish NENEXP cohort study of mother to child HIV transmission in Catalonia, Spain, antiretroviral therapy (ART), and the effects of good antenatal care services.
