- Focuses on a constructive, critical and open debate on the state of Polish refugee law. Role of the Geneva Convention and the New York Protocol in the Polish Legal System; Impact of the 2003 Aliens Act and the 2003 Act on the existing alien, asylum and refugee law in Poland; Overview of the major differences in terms of material law in the two laws passed; Information on several rulings of the Refugee Board to give an idea of the direction in which the Polish Refugee law is applied when it comes to issues such as agents of persecution.
