Abstract
- The article focuses on a study based on routine appendix diagnostics which is considered as seeds in the appendiceal lumen, their histological aspects and their differential diagnosis from parasites. It mentions real importance of identifying seed type in histological sections is in forensic botany and forsensic pathology. It also mentions incidental presence of seeds within the appendix lumen can be challenging to interpret for inexperienced pathologists.
