The Role of Epistemology and Social and Material Organization in Conceptual Change.

The article presents a study for comparing and contrasting prominent perspectives on conceptual change and their effect on learning. Topics include epistemic agency and freedom feel by students in math classroom; effects of scholarships on learning sciences and personal epistemology; and importance of classroom discourse norms for students' engagement in the classroom.
