Abstract

The development of life insurance is triggered by several determinants of socioeconomic origin, which at the same time are the most relevant ones. The most relevant determinant for the development of the life insurance is the Gross Domestic Product. In this paper we made structural analysis on the development of the life insurance in The Republic of Macedonia and Switzerland, but this analysis is extended on some other developing countries in order to get more relevant analysis and results. Besides the fact that the structural model for the development of the life insurance is the same, trends of development for different group of countries are different. The analysis, presentation and characteristics of these differences is one of the aims of this paper. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
