Abstract

The article discusses what is referred to as Copernican mediocrity, or the concept of human insignificance in the Copernican system of the universe, within the context of the possibility of intelligent alien, or extraterrestrial life, on exoplanets. An overview of the potential for intelligence alien life and civilization in the habitable zone, of Goldilocks distance, is provided.
