Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) is a disease whose manifestations include clinical features of several autoimmune diseases, including: systemic lupus erythematosus, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, dermatomyositis/polymyositis and systemic sclerosis. The diagnosis is made by associating these manifestations with the presence of hight titers of antibodies against ribonucleoproteins.
