Abstract
- The authors discuss a study about QT prolongation, a tool used in clinical decision making regarding drugs related with a risk of ventricular tachyarrhythmia Torsades de pointes (TdP). Topics include the gap between clinical practice and pathophysiological knowledge, optimization of the tool in the practice, and the development of a list category for drugs that show no proarrhythmic potential after use.
