Abstract

The article offers information on the fungal epizootics infection caused by Entomophthora muscae in flies. Topics include belonging of arthropod pathogenic fungi to the phylum Entomophthoromycotina and are ascomycetes; commonly witnessed epizootics caused by entomophthoralean species infecting flies, aphids, and grasshoppers; and starting of infection with the germination of a conidium.
