We Need Mariners.

The article focuses on assessment of the U.S. Merchant Marine's involvement in an administration of the country's national security. Topics discussed include observation of shortage in mariners numbers along with education in availability of cargo ships; illustration of decrement in commercial vessels presence for national security; reliance of national security over large ships for military sealift approaches; and recommendation for supporting the Jones Act for waterborne trade proliferation.
