Abstract

Turkey rural population is divided into periods the general development of during the Republican period in Turkey, 1927-1945 periods of stable growth period, the 1945-1980 period dynamic growth and from 1980 to present, it is seen as a dynamic reduction period. Reaching the highest rural population in 1980 Turkey, but also in the rural and urban population rate is synchronized and corresponds to a rupture that turned against longer-term rural growth. In different branches of science, the focus of studies on Turkish villages is the "loss of population". There are a number of studies and recommendations to prevent the decline of the population in the villages. In this study was expressed first the process of declining the population in the villages was considered and then the distribution of the Turkish villages according to the population sizes. The main part of the study focuses on the villages with a tendency to decrease and increase population and their causes during the ABPRS period, between 2007-2012. Finally, it has been evaluated effective parameters and their results on the change of population in the villages. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
