Abstract

The article discusses the role of the United Nations organization in the lead poisoning of Roma people during the war in Kosovo and the outbreak of cholera in Haiti and emphasizes on the human rights advisors' demand for an apology and compensation from the UN. Particular focus is given to the conditions of the people in Roma including the toxicity levels, failure in the relocation of residents, and the deaths due to the poisoning.
