Abstract
- Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) composite films modified with croconic acid were prepared and characterized by XRD, FTIR, TG, DSC, SEM, dielectric and ferroelectric test. The influence of loading content of croconic acid upon the structure, crystallinity, thermal stability, dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the modified PVDF films are investigated. The introduction of croconic acid could slightly improve the crystallinity of composite films. The dielectric constants of composite films could be two times larger than that of neat PVDF. ThePsvalue of PVDF composite film is lower than that of croconic acid, but is larger than that of pure PVDF. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
