Abstract
- The article focuses on feminist and historian Leila Rupp's scholarship on the history of sexuality. Leila puts women-loving women at the center of her historical inquiry and of women's history and queer history. She wrote history that was not constrained by national borders as depicted in her book "Mobilizing Women for War," a comparative history of World War II propaganda in the U.S. and Germany.
