The article discusses the various court cases related to internal abduction with comparison of laws regarding child abduction in Great Britain and New Zealand. It reports on Kacem v Bashir case in the New Zealand Supreme Court on child's relocation disputes, and Kaufusi v Klavenes case in which the court is tempted to adopt international abduction principles.
