Abstract
- The article discusses the responsibility of clinical teacher in the U.S. to teach pediatric high-value health care to medical students starting their medical rotations. Also cited are the concept of "too much care" like overdiagnosis, overtreatment and excessive testing, some accessible teaching tools like the Choosing Wisely lists, the Prepare, Process, Initiate (PPI), and the Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, Value (SOAP-V), as well as the total health care expenses in the country.
