Abstract: The article presents the author's views on the patriarchal tradition of men's supremacy on women. Also included are author's views on inequality between men and women, Islamic feminism, and the religious text of Islam Qur'an's sexist verses against women. Particular focus is given to the exegesis done on the Qur'an and the concept of Islamic feminism by Ebrahim Moosa, Kecia Ali, and Raja Rhouni.
