Abstract

The article discusses contact dermatitis due to nickel. Two cases are discussed first of a 28 year-old female textile worker who suffered dermatitis perhaps due to an old injection apparatus which elicits more nickel than a new one. Second case is of a 52 year house wife who had intensely itchy papulo-vesicular lesions with mild exudation due to washing material such as nickel sponge, which is a source of nickel in house hold use.
