Abstract
- Tetramethylguanidine (TMG) promotes a cascade thiol-­Michael–aldol–dehydration reaction between 2-mercaptobenzaldehyde and cinnamate esters to synthesize 2H-thiochromene-3-carboxylate derivatives.
