Abstract
- The article describes a case study of environmental education (EE) in the contemporary Mexican primary school national curriculum. It examined an EE model that uses participatory action research (PAR) in developing and conducting EE in primary schools in the country. It also discusses the implications of the results for teachers' understanding and use of PAR in conducting EE.
