Abstract: The article discusses the advances made in therapeutic flexible endoscopy technology. It states that the flexible ureterorenoscopy is popularly used in the treatment of calculous disease and other diagnostic and therapeutic indications. Technological advancements such as a robotic platform for laparoscopic surgery, robotic external manipulator, and actively manipulated robotic catheters are discussed.
