Abstract: The article offers information about ciguatera fish poisoning, a marine toxicity that may occur following ingestion of large fish. An overview of the cases of patients who suffered ciguatera fish poisoning is discussed. Information about the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis and management of ciguatera fish poisoning is also offered.
