- The article focuses on the support given by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to the campaign of Badgers & Winters chief creative officer Madonna Badger against the objectification of women in advertisements (ads). It mentions the issuance of a guidance by the advertising event and awards program against works that reflect gender bias, the #WomenNotObjects initiative of Badger and her promotion of conversation about sexual equality and gender bias in advertising.
