Abstract
- Botulinum toxin type A (BOTOX®, Dysport™) has revolutionized treatment of wrinkles around the eyes. Since the first publications of its cosmetic benefit by Drs. Jean and Alastair Carruthers, hundreds of articles have been published about its cosmetic use. BOTOX® holds U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in the United States for treatment of glabellar lines.
