El abordaje de la problemática social de la xenofobia en Europa. Análisis crítico del discurso en recursos audiovisuales.

Some social problems, such as the case of xenophobia, may be exacerbated by the spread of subliminal messages. On the European continent the problem has been aggravatedin recent years by the resurgence of nationalisms as a result of the financial and economic crisis in the European Union and the massive influx of immigrants from countries of the so-called Islamic world. In this regard, in this paper the problem is analysed using the methodology of Critical Discourse Analysis in the short film Neither Lampedusa, nor Brussels, being European! It is considered that this contribution can be a contribution to the training of future teachers of Geography, who by their skills in the domain of discourse analysis, which is acquired through practical exercises, in connection with the multi-causal analysis of the context from which emanates a certain speech, encourage the development of critical thinking.
