Abstract
- The article discusses the diminishing influence of Saudi Arabia in the Middle East to Iran, including its challenges in its intervention in the Yemeni Civil War, the role oil plays in Saudi Arabia's foreign relations and the success of Iranian-supported Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the Syrian Civil War. The impact that Shia-Sunni relations play in Saudi Arabia's Middle East policy is discussed.
