Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the 3rd International Sport Science and Sport Medicine Conference which was hosted by Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England from August 31-September 2, 2016. Topics addressed include collision in rugby, challenges for medical staff working within elite football, and difficulties in managing integrated sport science and sport medicine programs. Also addressed is the role of exercise in enhancing cardiovascular function.
