Abstract
- The article reports that Contact dermatitis from chrysanthemum is well-known and common among florists and horticulturists. Nevertheless, the identity and correct nomenclature of the plant responsible is frequently the subject of confusion. Cultivar chrysanthemums of florists or autumn-flowering chrysanthemums belong to the genus; they are perennial, of hybrid origin and do not have a winged corolla tube. A patient had airborne allergic contact dermatitis from Dendranthema morifelium, with strongly positive tests to the plant and its extracts.
