An affiliate of global private equity investment firm H.I.G. Capital (HIG) has acquired Canadian company Dominion Colour Corp (DCC), a provider of high-performance colour pigment solutions and preparations for use in automotive and architectural coatings, consumer and industrial plastics, and speciality inks.
