- An essay is provided on the presidential tenure of U.S. African American Democratic President Barack ("Barry") Obama, including his relationship with Republicans, his award for the Nobel peace prize, the social conditions of African Americans and U.S. military policy during his tenure. Race relations in the U.S., including African Americans and whites' attitudes towards race, are discussed.
