Abstract

The article cites evidences that animals have the ability to sense magnetism and align themselves in a particular direction. Topics discussed include studies on animal magnetism conducted by entomologist Purushottam Deoras, zoologist Hynek Burda and ornithologist Roswitha Wiltschko, the possible reasons why animals sense the magnetic field, and human magnetoreception.
