Abstract: Different techniques such as electro-optic, magneto-optic, acousto-optic methods have been utilized in the light modulation process. When they are compared each other, it is clear that each method has a different importance in the practical applications. In this work a study on the laser based light modulation technique has been concerned. For this purpose an opto-mechanical system has been designed and produced and at the end of the experimental study some typical results related to light modulation have been obtained.
