Abstract

The author comments on the book "The Confucian Philosophy of Harmony" by Chenyang Li. He examines the content of the book which offers a serious exploration of the Confucian ideal that cherishes harmonious relations and utmost goal of world harmony. The author also explores the five characteristics of Confucian harmony in the book and his interest in the guidelines that Li used in overcoming or resolving conflict in society in a harmonious manner.
