Abstract

The author presents comment on the book "The Confucian Philosophy of Harmony" by Chenyang Li. He explores how the book challenges the interpretation of Confucianism and ideology by examining the status of harmony in the Confucian classics. The author agrees with Li's reconstruction of the idea of harmony due to its solid and convincing stand and conceptual status and addresses two important ideas on the issue.
