Complete mitochondrial genome of Camptochilus aurea (Lepidoptera: Thyrididae).

The complete mitochondrial genome ofCamptochilus aurea(Butler, 1881) has been determined. The entire mitochondrial genome ofC. aureais 15 362bp in length which contains 13 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 22 transfer RNA genes, two ribosomal RNA genes and a control region. Twelve PCGs ofC. aureastart with ATN codon, but theCOIgene uses CGA as the start codon. Inferred phylogenetic relationships based on the data of 25 Lepidoptera species using Bayesian inference method indicated Thyrididae had a close relationship with Gelechioidea. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
