Abstract
- This article presents a case report on erythema-multiforme-like eruption from antibiotics. A 55-year-old woman hospitalized for post-operative necrotic pancreatitis, with fever, was treated with several antibiotics, such as tobramycin, clindamycin, cephalothin and cephalexin. An erythematopapular eruption began on the neck and spread to the limbs and trunk. Intradermal injections of clindamycin, lincomycin and cephalothin elicited positive reactions. Pencillin, amoxycillin and ciprofloxacin were administered at the usual doses with good tolerance.
