Ethnography of Eldercare by Elders in Shanghai, China.

The article presents an ethnographic picture of the less recognized task of elder adults, who provide informal care to the senior citizens in Chinese society. It provides an account of survey and fieldwork, which involves participant observation and interviews conducted in a some area of Shanghai, China where the population of old age people is highest in China.
