Abstract

This article presents a case report of an 80-year-old woman suffering from Zoon's vulvitis with a 3 year history of intermittent vulval ulceration, dysuria and pruritus. She has a past history of Paget's disease of the bone, no longer requiring treatment, and non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus diagnosed in 1993. During the examination she had a well demarcated erythematous area involving most of the vestibule. It was found that when Betnovate topical cream was prescribed for treatment, her symptoms and the macroscopic abnormalities had resolved.
