The article presents a case study of 57-year-old patient diagnosed with carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma (CaExPa) of the submandibular salivary gland who underwent with excision of thoracic intramedullary spinal metastasis after history of submandibular gland swelling surgery. The hypotheses about the route of metastasis into the spinal cord parenchyma include hematogenous spread via artery, tumor cells from carcinomatous menginitis and direct invasion.
